The Cubii Pro and Cubii Elite connect to through the Cubii app. Cubii syncs your activity data with your Fitbit account, including calories, distance traveled and steps. Your steps will load to your Fitbit account every 30 minutes. Please note that your Cubii activity will not count towards your Fitbit challenges due to restrictions on Fitbit's end.

The Cubii Pro and Cubii Elite connect to Apple Healthkit through the Cubii app. Your Cubii syncs activity data directly into your Apple HealthKit app on your iPhone.

You can pair your Cubii with your phone ONLY through the Cubii app. Please make sure that you are not connecting through your phone’s Bluetooth menu. After you create an account, tap on “Connect to your device”. Please start pedaling so that you turn on the Cubii; the LEDs on the Cubii will turn on and the blue Bluetooth LED will begin to blink. Your Cubii will show up on the app’s Device List. Look underneath you right pedal for a small sticker; match the name to the list of Cubiis found. Select your Cubii and tap on the “Connect” button. Once connected, the Bluetooth LED on your Cubii will stop blinking and remain lit. The dashboard shows your calories, strides, distance (miles) and time (minutes). If you are connected to Fitbit, you will also see your steps.

You can switch between the cyclist and classic dashboards by clicking on the small cyclist icon on the top right beside the notification icon.

Click on “Connect Your Device” button on the dashboard. This lists the available Cubii devices in the vicinity. You can then select the Cubii device you wish to connect with and click on “Connect”.

To disconnect, click on the device name on the dashboard. On the device list page, click on “Disconnect”.

When connecting to your Cubii device the first time, you’ll be asked to give it your own name. If you’d like to rename your Cubii later, you can do so by following: More >> Account >> Devices- [cubii device].

You can check the time at which your Cubii app last synced to the server by referring below the “Connect Your Device” button.

You can find notifications on the notifications pane. The notification pane is on the right side of the dashboard and can be opened by clicking on the “notification icon”(bell) on the top right.

You can switch between different metrics in the progress screen by clicking on the metric icon on the top left.

Yes, you can view progress graphs for day, week, month and year.

You can start a preset Challenge by clicking “I’m ready” on the challenge page of your choice (i.e. Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced).

All Challenges have specific daily caloric targets each week. Every week, the caloric target may go up incrementally. You can complete a Challenge successfully by fulfilling the requirements outlined in the Challenge summary.

If you are not able to fulfill a requirement for a week, the Challenge will stop. At that point, you have a choice to restart the Challenge from the beginning. Also, you can manually stop an ongoing Challenge on the summary screen.

No, you can not have multiple challenges running at the same time.

On the Challenges tab, you can go inside the currently running Challenge screen. You can see details of the Challenge by sliding right to the “Tracker” tab.

With ‘Build Your Own’ challenge, you can set your own daily calorie or distance targets. Note that you can set a goal for either calories or distance at any given time.

A public group is a globally visible group. Unlike a private group, there are no restrictions on who can join a public group.

Anyone who wishes to join a public group can do so by clicking “Join” button within that group.

Admin of a private/public group can invite another cubii user to join the group. While, a member of a group can add group members only if the admin has enabled permission for members to add other users to the group.

You can see your ranking in a group by using the drop down menu on the top right of the group page. You have options for present day, previous day, present week, present month and previous month.

You can join the Cubii Global group by accepting the invitation when you first sign up for your account. Alternatively, click “Join” within the Cubii Global (Official) group in the public group tab.

Only Admins of a public/private group have permission to edit the group details. No other member can edit group details.

All users are added to City and Company groups based on the information provided during signup. You cannot leave a City or a Company group. The Company group is private; users who are not part of your company will not be able to see members in companies that they are not a part of.

The data on Groups page is behind only by a maximum of 2-3 minutes. If you are connected to the Internet and the local data is synced to the cloud, your Groups page will be updated after your exercise data gets processed which takes a few minutes.

1) Make sure you are connected to WiFi, and that you have a good signal.

2) If you are not using your WiFi, please make sure you enable mobile data on your phone.

3) If those don't work, please make sure you close all other active apps, open the Cubii app and wait for a few minutes.

While the app doesn't have a restriction that requires your phone to be connected only with the Cubii, there may be a few cases (especially with Android) where connection issues may arise due to operating system changes implemented by the phone manufacturers.

Please try connecting your phone with Cubii while you also connect with other BLE devices to see if they work together. If you face issues, we advise you to disconnect your phone from other BLE/Bluetooth devices before you connect with your Cubii.

You can create private groups and invite others. Please follow the steps below.

  1. Go to the Groups page from the navigation bar. Click on "+".
  2. Name your group.
  3. Invite friends by typing their names in the search bar. Note that you can still create group without adding people.

Please note that during offline mode (i.e. exercising when your Cubii is not connected to your phone), only Calories, Distance and Strides will be recorded. Active Minutes will not be recorded. Active Minutes are only recorded for exercise completed when the Cubii is connected to your phone via Bluetooth.

Note that the Cubii app is compatible with iPhone 5 or above running iOS 8 or later.

  1. Make sure you are connected to the Internet.
  2. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is turned on under Settings.
  3. Make sure that your Cubii is not connected to any other mobile device such as a tablet or Android device that you, a colleague or a family member owns. If connected to another device, disconnect the Cubii and then reconnect with your own mobile device.
  4. After making sure that your Cubii is charged up, pedal to check if the dashboard stats change.
  5. If none of the above steps solve the connection issue, please try the following:
    1. On Cubii device list, disconnect from Cubii manually.
    2. Delete Cubii app.
    3. Turn Bluetooth on and off.
    4. Hold phone home button & power key until phone shuts off.
    5. Hold phone power button until Apple shows and phone turns on.
    6. On iPhone Bluetooth settings, look for any unconnected devices listed like "accessory " or similar. If found, select and forget it.
    7. Install Cubii app.
    8. Pair Cubii app with Cubii device.

For an optimal experience, we recommend using Cubii with a chair without wheels. However, if you must use it with a chair with wheels, Cubii comes with two wheel stoppers that you can insert under your chair for comfortable use.

Although the Cubii has been designed not to slide on most surfaces, there are floor types that are more slippery than others. If you have an anti-slip mat available, please place your Cubii on top of it. If you don't have one available, please contact support@mycubii.com for further assistance. If your Cubii is not turning on when you pedal, please follow the below steps:

  1. Plug your Cubii into the outlet using the provided adapter and charging cable. The battery LED should blink. Charge until the LED turns yellow or green; you can continue using the Cubii while charging.
  2. If the battery LED does not blink or the Cubii does not turn on, try charging your Cubii with another adapter and charging cable found with an Android phone or tablet.
  3. If the battery LED does not blink or the Cubii does not turn on, try charging your Cubii using a different outlet.
  4. If the above steps did not solve the issue, please contact support@mycubii.com for further assistance. Please provide the following information in the email.
